Morling Theological College and CEGM Project

Morling Theological College and the Centre for Evangelism and Global Mission are located on a large site. The site has been used by the college for many years and is located near Macquarie University. It has a large range of buildings of various types and styles providing both college facilities and accommodation for the staff and students.

Aibee Architects has been able to assist the college by designing and arranging a number of “infill” projects to enhance and update the existing facilities. By establishing a sympathetic, yet more contemporary, style for the new works it has been possible to consolidate the existing buildings into a more unified campus facility.

Design Solution

Each project has had a limited budget and was required to be constructed with minimum impact on the activities of the college.

A variety of new projects and upgrades to the staff and student accommodation have also been completed by Aibee Architects.

This project demonstrates the value of a continuing relationship between a client and their architect. There are many benefits to the client of the architect having an accumulated knowledge of both the client’s needs and the site constraints and issues.
